Lurk

Over the past years, my focus has gradually shifted towards more reduced and introspective forms of sound – less driven by structure, more by subtle internal movement.

My new 10” EP Lurk, released on the Polish label FOMO_, continues this direction. The record is part of the label’s Thresholds series, which explores transitional states – moments where perception begins to shift, but hasn’t yet fully resolved. This idea immediately resonated with me.

Both tracks on Lurk are built around very subtle changes and internal tension. Phobia introduces a restrained rhythmic framework with slow, broken beats, surrounded by field recordings and warm, evolving textures. The piece develops gradually, focusing on density and presence rather than progression. Subliminal moves further into an ambient space. It’s more open and less defined, unfolding as a continuous undercurrent rather than a structured composition.
