Pop Ambient is a compilation series curated by Wolfgang Voigt, of which I was a part from the very beginning. The upcoming one for 2022 contains two collaborations I produced with Markus Guentner and Pepo Galán.
Some time ago I became aware of the American label “Past Inside The Present” and was amazed by their diverse and comprehensive back catalogue. The other day I had a chat about it with Zakè, the label founder.
I’m happy to see “Libration”, a collaboration with Spanish artist Pepo Galán, released on the next Pop Ambient compilation. This series is curated by Wolfgang Voigt, who is one of the founders of the Cologne-based Kompakt label and has been releasing groundbreaking works with his project Gas for more than 20 years.
