I became aware of the project Arovane at the end of the 90s. At the time it was his remix for Pub’s “Summer” which still impresses me today. Also in connection with the Berlin Hardwax localized label “DIN” Arovane appeared with some releases. And everything that came out of the
Seasons is the result of a grant I worked on in the second half of 2021. Thematically, the EP deals with the translation of nature sounds and sensory impressions that I collected in countless walks in a nearby forest.

“Textures” is a sound library that I’ve created during Winter 2021. It is a carefully selected collection of cinematic and evolving sounds.
With Ousia, Joachim Spieth presents the third long player on his label Affin. The follow-up album to “Tides” creates imaginary spaces, translates ephemeral impressions and condenses them into cinematic soundscapes.
“Tides” is Joachim Spieth’s second longplayer which will be released on his own Affin imprint. The album is divided into 8 tracks, built by seemingly endless, sensitively interwoven surfaces.
